New book, new sale

So I somehow neglected to mention that I have a new book out for a whole month. A month.

My bad.

Xenopraxis is a sequel to my 2021 novel, Echogenesis. The manuscript of Echogenesis was rejected by every publisher going before I finally gave up submitting it and decided to release it through my own imprint. Since then it's gone on to be very successful indeed: successful enough to make me feel comfortable again about calling myself a full-time writer.

It has something in the region of 3,250 ratings and reviews on Amazon. I suppose in retrospect it was inevitable I might write sequels, and here's the blurb for the first of them, Xenopraxis:

The sequel to the hugely popular Echogenesis.

Fifty years on from the previous expedition, the crew of another lander has arrived on Aranyani and made their home on a high mesa isolated from the surrounding forest. There, they can be safe from the deadly Howlers - or so they think.

But Sam can't help wondering if his changes to the Tsiolkovsky's programming have really worked. He believes his will be the final expedition - but what if he's wrong?

And even as he ponders, his son, Gramm, is busy exploring the coast of Aranyani's largest continent, more than a thousand kilometres away - where he makes a shocking discovery that upends everything his father has come to believe.

The book was released in September and is, as I was hoping, selling very well indeed. There's going to be a concluding volume of the trilogy in 2026, titled Echoterminus. Right now I'm arse-deep in the edits of that book.

Echogenesis is also currently on sale in the UK and US for 99p/99c. I also put some of my other books on sale at the same time, because why the hell not - specifically Devil's Road, Europa Deep, Butterfly Box and Other Stories, all for the same price.
