Well, that's the cat officially out of the bag. Tor are re-releasing print editions of my first five books, starting with the Shoal Trilogy (my third, fourth and fifth books respectively) in Spring of 2013, with te rest staggered over the next few months. Somewhere in there will be the release of Marauder (formerly known as River of Light), a standalone book set in the same universe as the Shoal books.
Here's the delectable cover art for the Shoal reissues, from the brush of the very, very talented Steve Stone.

Nice covers; and congratulations again on now being a branded author.
Hi there.
Do you know why we can buy "The Thousand Emperors" (http://www.amazon.com/The-Thousand-Emperors-ebook/dp/B00843OB6Y/) in the States on the Kindle but cannot buy "Final Days" as an ebook? It is very strange and makes it hard to read your second book since they are related.
Al - I wasn't aware that was the case. It certainly used to be available, so maybe it's just a glitch in the system. Either way, I've forwarded your message to my publisher, and I'll find out what's happening.
Actually, I note that Amazon doesn't actually directly sell your paperback or hardcover of Final Days either. It is all third party resellers. Maybe they're having yet another fight with Tor?
Glad to hear this. I recently discovered Stealing Light ( few days ago) and can't believe I haven't been reading your books for years. I hope this reprint brings you the exposure you deserve. You're writing is on par with Reynolds and Banks, and whomever is publishing your books needs to get with it pr-wise.
Keep up the excellent work, Gary.
