ABOUT GARY

Gary Gibson is the author of fourteen books, the first ten of which were published by Pan MacMillan in the UK. Of these, he's perhaps best known for The Shoal Sequence: in order, Stealing Light, Nova War, Empire of Light, and Marauder. 

His most recent published series started with Extinction Game, which received a starred review from Publisher's Weekly. A novella, Ghost Frequencies, was published by Newcon Press in 2018, as was his first collection of short stories, Scienceville and Other Lost Worlds. These were followed more recently by Doomsday Game and Devil's Road.

His first ten books were published  by Tor, an imprint of Pan Macmillan books, and have been translated to Spanish, German and Russian. Audiobooks have been made of most. He is represented by John Jarrold of the John Jarrold Literary Agency, and any enquiries about rights should be directed there.

Apart from writing, he also provides book doctoring services for Jericho Writers, helping unpublished authors improve their skills.
